In 2012 We went to Graceland, then we drove a 100 miles away to go see the little house that Elvis was Born in, I was so inspired. On our last night we went to a concert where Elvis was singing on a huge screen and his original band played along with him, Lisa Mari and Persila were also there, Elvis was singing Welcome to my World on the big screen,

when I got back home I was inspired to paint this picture, Most people look at it and say O nice a picture of Graceland. but the vision I had from being so inspired was to put the birth house of Elvis in front of Graceland as the front entrance,

so that you would have to walk through the house he was born in, into the house he passed away in, and that was his world, so the tittle is so fitting for this painting!! I was legally blind at this time, I painted it the best I could as I envisioned it in my mind, I added the sky last using a paint program on the computer,
I could not paint detail at the time because of my poor vision, is why the lions look mysteriously unfinished, Have a Great day!! TCB
